Poster show / Poster competition (07.03.2022)

All participants of the CERAMICS conference are eligible to participate with a virtual poster submission / poster presentation accepted by the program committee. Participants in the Hans-Walter-Hennicke Lecture Competition are not eligible.

Note: Documents submitted later cannot be considered.

Option 1: Participation only Poster show

Format: *.jpg-file and *.png-file
File size: max. 20 MB

Option 2: Participation Poster show and Poster competition

In addition to the documents from Option 1, a poster presentation (only in English / as a video, duration
max. 2 min / Structure of your virtual poster presentation: title, question, methods, result).
Video configurations:

Video format: *.mp4
Video resolution: max. 720p (1280x720 pixels)
Video size: max. 400 MB
Video length (corresponds to duration of poster presentation) = 2 minutes

How to create your

Poster (Option 1 => Step 1 -> only Poster as image file)
Poster competition (Option 2 => Step 3 -> with poster presentation via 2-min-video)

Step 1

Create your poster. Configurations details:

*.jpg file or *.png
fileFile size: max. 20 MB

Step 2

Name your poster as described:

POSTER_ID.-Nr.jpg

(You can see your ID-No. under Submission in this system - see example).

Step 3

Only if you are participating in the poster competition, otherwise go to Step 4!

Create your 2-min poster presentation as 2-min-video. Here is an example!
Name your video file. Please only as described here: P_VIDEO_ID.-Nr.mp4
(You can read your ID-No. under Submission in this system - see example).

Step 4

Now upload your poster / poster presentation (2-min-video) in your user account at www.2022.dkg.de.
Click on the "Submission" button in your user account and use the big blue button UPLOAD PRESENTATION (following example).

Concept Poster show / Poster competition

Your poster (as an image file) and in case of participation in the poster competition also your poster presentation (as 2-min video) must be entered into the virtual congress system of KERAMIK 2022 by yourself in advance!

Please note the following guidelines:
	Your Short Abstract will be evaluated by the program committee, whih will decide if your poster will be included in the program. Your Short Abstract will be published in the Abstract Volume of the conference together with your contact details and the co-authors of the contribution. You will be informed about the decision of the program committee in advance, but only via e-mail through your account in the congress management system (please look dates & deadlines). We reserve us the right to make formal changes to your Short Abstract for the publication in the abstract volume (e.g. correction of upper and lower case in the title or the formatting of equations).
	Before 27.01.2022: You have to be registered as a participant for the CERAMICS. Please submit the Short Abstract for your poster in English, with a max. of 1.500 characters and a max. of 6 authors. We only accept online submissions.
	Submit by 25.02.2022: After the (virtual) poster presentation (this will be done by transmitting your video on 07.03.2022), a virtual viewing of the posters by the jury will take place on 08.03.2022. DKG expects your personal (virtual) presence for the jury during this period; also at the interactive poster show on 08. and 09.03.2022. All conference participants will be able to see their posters virtually from 07. - 09.03.2022.
	(virtual) Award Ceremony Poster Competition - probably on 08.03.2022, approx. 05:00 pm. The DKG expects the (virtual) participation of all participants at the award ceremony.

The top three posters will be awarded. The sponsor has provided the following cash prizes:
